Blocks Happen

It's been over a year since I posted a new piece, but it's not for a lack of working on them!  In addition, sometimes mental blocks are part of any creative process and part of the struggle is learning to swim through them.  In my defense, I think the most recent piece, "Awesome Wonder" has some gravitas that kept my mind occupied commensurate with re-imagining any piece with the staying power of the root of this hymn (How Great Thou Art).  Like good syrup from an old maple, sometimes, goodness just takes time.  Thanks for any feedback. If you use the piece, please consider sending me a recording!

Easter Weekend

It was a wonderful gift to get an e-mail with a recording from my Brother Greg's choir performing "Be Still" for his church service Easter Sunday.  I learn so much from hearing how others interpret my work.  My Brother was absolutely the most influential musician in my life.  From playing together in marching band in high-school, to Jazz band in college, to inspiring me with his own compositions, Greg is a large reason I am composing music today.  He is the definition of "brother" to me and I'm grateful for his many gifts over the years.

Sheet Music For Choirs and Solo Performances

The purpose of this site is to share my compositions and arrangements freely for choral and solo performers.

Click on the "Sheet Music Files" tab above, to view or print the pdf of the individual pieces. Im working to post my library over time so check back frequently.  Some of the files are not pdf however and will need to be viewed with a Finale product.

This music may be used freely for all non-commercial or non-profit purposes.

Enjoy and please...provide feedback.  If you can send me a recording of your performances, I will gladly post them for all to enjoy.

I'd like to thank several people who have been "instrumental" in the editing of many (most) of these works.  Firstly, Janelle Toller, who's talent knows no bounds.  Her time spent editing with me is a gift. In addition, Andrea Waznegger, who accompanies the Vail Choir, helps me see how a "real pianist" would view the piece.  Thanks to Scott Toller too for wakeboarding with me every other Friday...just had to throw that in...
